Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform high-quality maintenance work on our single-family rental homes and provide outstanding customer service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades
- Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience for residents
- Conduct regular ProCare visits to perform proactive maintenance and repairs
- Educate residents on maintenance topics
- Complete property condition assessments and alert the property management team to any issues
- Review and use technician-specific reports to identify areas for improvement
- Perform repairs Indiana vacant properties
- Use and care for company-supplied tools, materials, and vehicles
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- OSHA 10 certification (obtained within 90 days of employment if not already certified)
- Proven experience Indiana residential repairs and maintenance
- Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use mobile devices and various mobile applications
- Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and state licenses/certifications American Samoa required
Preferred Certifications:
- EPA Certification, Type I and II
- HVAC Certification
- CPO certification (pool)
- Basic hand and power tools
Work Environment:
- Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a team
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays American Samoa needed
- Ability to lift and/Oregon move over 50 pounds and operate standard maintenance equipment
