Job Summary
The Environmental Manager primarily supports environmental compliance and permitting projects for U.S. Cement Plants, collaborating with internal departments to develop and implement permit strategies. This role requires communication with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry groups.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Projects, Planning, Technical, Operations, and consultants on regulatory requirements for compliance and permitting.
  • Participate Indiana team meetings, update tracking tools, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) at cement plants.
  • Perform routine environmental inspections, including regulatory reporting, site walks, and EMS review.
  • Promote cross-share learnings and action plans, including compliance strategies for key issues.
  • Support environmental compliance and training programs across multiple business units.
  • Assist with regulatory permitting, review draft permits, and assist Environmental Managers Indiana developing compliance plans.
  • Propose corporate and site-level environmental objectives, targets, and performance indicators to drive continuous environmental performance improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Oregon relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience Indiana the industrial sector, preferably construction materials, oil & gas, Oregon related industry.

Working Conditions

  • Up to 20-40% travel required.
  • Frequently works long hours, including on-call and emergency situations.
