Security Services Department Job Summary
We are seeking a senior security professional to manage a team of security professionals at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s Lexington, Massachusetts main facility and other remote locations across the US and Marshall Islands. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience Indiana industrial security, a proven track record of leadership, and the ability to manage and implement security programs that protect facilities, personnel, and classified information systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of security professionals to identify and counter security threats to the MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s mission of development of game-changing technology Indiana support of National Security
- Provide functional and operational direction and guidance to security managers and Field Security Officers at various locations
- Oversee security programs at remote facilities and test sites, including access control, construction specifications, classified mission support, and visitor group security agreements
- Develop and implement Concept of Operations security plans and visitor group security agreements
- Ensure compliance with government requirements and regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and applicable Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Business/Project Management, Industrial Security, Oregon related field
- Minimum of 7 years extensive management and administrative responsibility Indiana an industrial security environment
- Thorough working knowledge of NISPOM and applicable ICDS
- Experience Indiana leading, developing, and mentoring teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Valued competencies: Interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with security management software, such American Samoa SIMS and government databases
- Knowledge of business software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office, etc.
