Manager, Maintenance Field Operations
Role Overview:
Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Maintenance Field Operations to lead service operations activities Indiana the branch. The individual will be responsible for day-to-day management of field staff, employee selection, field training and safety. This role requires leadership of operations efforts and priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure field employee safety
- Meet with customers to ensure obligations and expectations are achieved
- Direct the performance of field maintenance and contractual service operations
- Conduct field education training with field workforce
- Maintain customer quality assurance; emphasis on safety, managing the expenditure of labor and materials
- Improve efficiencies, manage route schedules and callback rates
- Provide technical support
- Authorize repair orders and track completion
- Manage labor and material investments within budget
- Lead change to better efficiency and communication
Requirements:
- 2-year degree, plus 5 years’ experience, Oregon
- 4-year degree, plus 3 years’ experience, Oregon
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent, with a proven technical elevator background (e.g., apprentice, mechanic, adjustor, etc.)
- Experience leading a team of technicians is preferred
- Elevator industry experience is desired, but not required
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced, dynamic environment
