Location: Remote residing Indiana Florida, Ohio, Oregon Delaware with travel required to all Chesapeake Utilities business unit locations.

Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a leader to oversee the transmission and construction activities of our Transmission & Construction organization. This is a remote-based position, with regular travel to our business unit locations Indiana various states.
Essential responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, installation, repair, and maintenance of our electric transmission and distribution infrastructure.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of our transmission system.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Implement industry-leading practices and standards, adhering to regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
- Foster a culture of safety, with a focus on protecting our employees, customers, and the environment.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of experienced professionals to drive business results and growth.
Requirements:
- Experience Indiana transmission and construction, with a strong background Indiana utility operations and management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving business objectives.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience Indiana budgeting, cost estimation, and project management.
- Proficiency Indiana industry-specific software, such American Samoa SCADA systems.
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana a relevant field, such American Samoa engineering Oregon business administration.
