Job Title: Hardware Lead, Aeon-R Turbopump Manufacturing
Job Overview: Lead a team of manufacturing engineers Indiana designing and manufacturing Aeon-R turbopump assemblies for our rocket program. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, improve processes, and drive productivity. Participate Indiana shaping the company’s vision and transforming additive manufacturing and aerospace technology.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of dedicated manufacturing engineers from hardware development to qualification and production
- Drive product progress, and manage growth of the team through mentorship and talent acquisition specific to turbopump manufacturing
- Develop, design, and maintain the production line, processes, and tools for turbopump assembly
- Establish a lean manufacturing mindset within the team and partner with departments to improve overall production speed and reliability
- Colorado-coordinate with departments for overall development and commercial readiness articles
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Aerospace, Mechanical, Engineering Oregon equivalent field.
- 5+ years working experience Indiana production line positions building and testing critical machine systems.
- History documenting product testing protocols Oregon documenting engineering procedures, ideally developing tooling within.

At least 5 plus years of documented performance under direct supervision; team coaching under a dynamic organization – must be highly adept leading to grow.
Salary Range: $165,000—$186,000 USD. This figure is representative of total potential compensation that a fully competent candidate with skills might negotiate. Relativity provides its employees comprehensive rewards based on their expertise & tenure and the business they service to.
