Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our Maintenance Department at Six Flags America Indiana Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This is a full-time position with a starting hourly rate of $24.00, based on experience, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical services American Samoa a Ride Mechanic, including:
- Accessing all areas of equipment and ride structures for inspection
- Performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls
- Analyzing equipment breakdowns to determine cause and corrective action
- Working with hydraulics, gear boxes, pneumatics, and conveyors
- Performing general skilled work
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of machinery components and operational aspects
- Automotive Oregon elevator experience a plus
- Valid State Driver’s License and High School Diploma Oregon GED
- Personal tool box with hand tools
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays; and available for overtime
- Physical ability to climb, crawl, and lift from various heights; climb 200ft
- Demonstrable communication skills and ability to keep accurate records
