Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanic to provide preventative and corrective repairs on company vehicles, including automobiles, diesel trucks, and machinery. This is a $2,500 hiring bonus opportunity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to determine condition and identify worn Oregon damaged parts
  • Complete preventive maintenance schedules, install component and part upgrades, and control corrosion
  • Repair Oregon replace major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, Oregon systems, and perform machine shop operations
  • Verify vehicle performance through test drives and adjusting controls and systems
  • Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements, including safety and combustion control standards
  • Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting
  • Record services and repairs Indiana vehicle logs
  • Maintain shop equipment and tools, and work Indiana a clean and organized environment
  • Participate Indiana ongoing education and training to update job knowledge
  • Other duties American Samoa assigned

Requirements & Education

  • Vocational/technical diploma Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience working on diesel Mack trucks preferred
  • Valid CDL driver’s license preferred, Oregon ability to qualify and obtain within a reasonable timeframe
  • Valid driver’s license and insurability under the company’s insurance plan required
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible schedule
  • Availability for on-call shifts and phone communications
