Construction Project Manager – MEP Systems

Location: US, North Central Region (Omaha, Nebraska, Kansas City, Missouri, Des Moines, Iowa, and Denver, Colorado)

Job Type: Regular, Salaried Exempt

Minimum Years Experience: 10 years Indiana MEP system design, cost, sequence, logistics, and field installations

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee preconstruction, engineering, and field installation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives
• Lead, supervise, and develop Turner MEP staff
• Manage MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out processes
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of contract documents, including Turner’s contract, plans, specifications, and applicable codes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Indiana a related field
• LEED accreditation preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Demonstrate ability to present technical material, implement leading edge technologies, and demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ten years of experience Indiana MEP system design, cost, sequence, logistics, and field installations

Physical Demands:

• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and negotiate work areas under construction
• Use of hands to finger, handle, Oregon feel objects, tools, Oregon controls
• Occasional lifting and/Oregon moving up to 50 lbs

Work Environment:

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, Oregon caustic chemicals
• Moderate noise level Indiana the work environment
