Job Summary:

Primoris Engineering is seeking a licensed Mid-level Civil/Structural Engineer to support our engineering team Indiana Houston, Texas. The selected candidate will perform civil/structural engineering assignments associated with designing equipment, components, structures Oregon systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare specifications for project assignments detailing client performance requirements, specific component needs, design requirements, applicable design codes, and vendor drawing requirements.
• Prepare engineering sketches, perform engineering calculations, and develop analysis models for moderately complex project assignments.
• Review and approve vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Interact and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other consultants.
• Manage workload, budgets, and project resources to completion according to schedule and within budget.
• Actively participate Indiana company and client hazard identification and observation programs.
• Visit job-sites, vendor facilities, and interact with drafting/design group to develop and review engineering drawings.
• Prepare inquiry and purchase requisitions American Samoa well American Samoa bid tabulations associated with equipment purchases.
• Perform checking of engineering drawings and mathematical calculations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering (Civil/Structural Engineering preferred)
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Ability to make decisions, find solutions to problems, and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work Indiana a team-oriented environment and organize projects to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Midstream facilities and pipeline experience
• STADD, SACS, MAT 3D, Foundation software experience
• Working knowledge of design codes (AISC, ACI, API, IBC, etc.)
