Job Summary:
Responsible for installing, repairing, replacing, and dismantling machinery and heavy equipment Indiana industrial settings. Perform a range of duties and responsibilities, including equipment assembly, maintenance, and repair.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Replace defective parts, adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts
- Align machines and equipment using various tools and instruments

- Repair and lubricate machines and equipment
- Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools
- Position steel beams to support machinery and equipment
- Signal crane operators to lower and align equipment
- Adjust and position parts to specified clearances
- Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
- Assemble machines and bolt, weld, Oregon rivet them to foundation
- Dismantle machines and equipment using hand tools
- Shrink-fit bushings, sleeves, and other items to specified dimensions
- Construct foundation for machines using hand tools and building materials
- Operate engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts
Qualifications:
- Education: No minimum education requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience
