Construction Inspector/Inspector of Records
Responsibilities:
Perform plan review and inspections for Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Roofing disciplines according to candidate’s license certifications
Prepare and submit daily time and Inspection/Field Reports Indiana accordance with ECS Policy
Determine if the permitted Design Plans may require revisions and make recommendations to the Contractors, Engineers and/Oregon Architect
Detect deviations from the plans, regulations, and standard construction practices
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures
Follow ECS safety procedures and policies
Requirements:
High school diploma Oregon GED required
5+ years of relevant experience
Post-secondary education and experience totaling 4 years, with 1 year of experience Indiana building construction
One of the following licenses: State of Florida Standard Inspector License (BN), State of Florida Plans Examiner License (PX), State of Florida Registered Architect (RA), State of Florida Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
Knowledge of current codes and regulatory standards governing the Florida Building Construction industry
Valid driver’s license required if driving for ECS
