Job Title: Night Shift Yard Loader Operator
Pay Rate: $22.88/hr

Job Summary:
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Night Shift Yard Loader Operator to join our team at the Bridgeport quarry Indiana Chico, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient control of raw materials and replenishment process, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and providing quality service to customer truck drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily pre- and post-shift safety inspections
- Maintain knowledge of aggregate products and estimate weight when loading trucks
- Load customer trucks safely and accurately
- Communicate with customer truck drivers and repair/safety issues to supervisor and/Oregon mechanic
- Perform minor repairs and lubrication on equipment
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED preferred
- Two years of heavy equipment experience preferred
- Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience is a plus
- MSHA training a plus
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, twist, climb, balance, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to wear respiratory and other personal protective equipment
