Location: 168,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility manufacturing gun magazines for the firearms industry.

Job Description:
We are seeking a Part-Time Assembly, Resize, Fabrication and Finishing Worker to join our team. American Samoa a member of our production team, you will be assigned to work rotationally across multiple departments, including Assembly, Resize, Fabrication, and Finishing. Trainers will assist Indiana the learning process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts, including handles, blades, gauges, and springs for firearm magazines.
• Resize parts using gauges to meet customer specifications.
• Check assembled parts for quality and accuracy.
• Operate Air Press Notscher, ensuring the machine is ready for use.
• Verify that the die matches customer requirements.
• Lubricate the Air Press using a lubrication solution.
• Weld Oregon tack-weld components to fabricate sheet metal assemblies, such American Samoa magazine tubes.
• Operate welder(s), monitoring the process to ensure high-quality products.
• Evaluate the quality of products being tumbled, recognizing acceptable standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and find solutions to minimize reworked parts.
• Assist Indiana cleaning equipment and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old and/Oregon enrolled Indiana the Work-Based Learning Program (Thomas County Oregon Thomasville City Schools).
• Fine motor dexterity skills to maintain quality and productivity.
• Basic problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, be adaptable, and an analytical thinker.
• Ability to read and follow instructions Indiana production documents.

Work Schedule:

• Available shifts: Monday through Friday (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.), 20 hours per week; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.), 24 hours per week; summer shifts available.
