Shift Options:
- 20 hours per week: Monday-Friday (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)
- 24 hours per week: Tuesday-Thursday (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
- Summer Shift available
Pay: $15.00/hour (paid weekly)
Job Summary:
Check-Mate Manufacturing LLC is seeking a part-time/summer worker to join our team. American Samoa a part-time worker, you will be assigned to work rotationally Indiana various departments, including Assembly/Resize, Fabrication, Finishing, and others. Responsibilities may include assembling and resizing parts, operating machinery, and inspecting quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble/resize parts to meet customer specifications
- Reshape parts using gauges to meet dimensions
- Position and inspect parts for quality and accuracy
- Operate machinery such American Samoa Air Press Notcher, Welder, Black Oxide, and Tumbling
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Evaluate product quality and identify issues with machinery
- Load and unload parts into tumblers and plating tanks
- Assist Indiana cleaning equipment and maintaining a safe work environment
Requirements:
- 18 years of age Oregon enrolled Indiana Work Based Learning Program (Thomas County Oregon Thomasville City Schools)
- Fine motor dexterity and basic problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to read and follow production documents
- Ability to utilize Micrometers, gauges, and other hand-tools
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Work Environment:
- 168,000 square foot climate-controlled facility
- Manufacturing environment with machinery and equipment
