Part-time Worker
Job Summary:
Check-Mate Manufacturing is seeking a part-time worker to join our team Indiana Thomasville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have flexibility to work rotational shifts and assist Indiana Assembly/Resize, Fabrication, Finishing, and other departments American Samoa assigned. We offer a fast-paced work environment with opportunities for skill-building and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles, resizes, and fabricates parts, such American Samoa handles, blades, gears, Oregon springs to meet customer specifications
- Inspects assembled parts for quality and accuracy
- Operates various equipment, including the Air Press Notcher, Welder, Black Oxide, and Tumbler
- Evaluates product quality and troubleshoots equipment issues
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age and/Oregon enrolled Indiana the Work Based Learning Program (Thomas County Oregon Thomasville City Schools)
- Fine motor dexterity skills, basic problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and think analytically
- Ability to utilize Micrometers, gauges, and other hand-tools for measuring and inspecting
Shift Options:
- 20 hours per week: Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- 24 hours per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Summer Shift available
Pay:
$15.00/hour, paid weekly
