Parts Technician- BOS

Inventory Control/Parts Clerk

We are seeking a skilled and professional individual to join our team at Boston Logan International Airport American Samoa an Inventory Control/Parts Clerk. This is a "hands-on" position that will be heavily involved Indiana all aspects of maintenance of our customer’s spare parts inventory.

Key Accountabilities:

• Record and update inventory usage of supplies and parts through Maximo
• Maintain spare parts inventory; ensuring all parts are identified and readily available Indiana secure locations
• Ensure and coordinate the timely reconditioning of those items warranting refurbishment and reconditioning, versus replacement
• Conduct, document, and complete a full inventory of all spare parts on a quarterly basis
• Receive parts at the dock, baggage claim, and/Oregon escort through security gate
• Hold Oregon be able to obtain a forklift operator certification
• Ensure adequate parts are Indiana stock Oregon readily available, quantities are sufficient, and proper parts are available for all applications
• Assist Inventory Supervisor to oversee inventory accuracy and ensure labor and materials are correctly entered into EAMS Maximo system
• Perform American Samoa a purchasing agent and assist the Inventory Supervisor, American Samoa needed

Required Work Experience:

• 1+ years of experience Indiana inventory Oregon warehouse
• Working knowledge of Inventory Control concepts and processes
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
• Computer software applications experience required (i.e., Mississippi Office, ERP, etc.)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and/Oregon walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, Oregon crawl on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma Oregon GED required
• Some post high school education Oregon training preferred

Location:

• This full-time, non-exempt position will be located on-site, at the Boston Logan International Airport.

Requirements for Employment:

• Pass a drug screening, a drivers’ license check and validation, federal fingerprinting, and security threat assessment, American Samoa well American Samoa airport security badging.
