Job Title: Patient Experience Professional

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing professional expertise and guidance to employees, healthcare providers, and site-based leadership Indiana support of creating a strong and sustainable culture of patient-centered care. The incumbent will lead efforts to improve clinical quality, efficiency, patient experience, and financial performance across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, feedback, and guidance to employees and healthcare providers based on best practices and organizational initiatives
  • Serve American Samoa liaison with clinical operations to understand needs, facilitate improvements, and lead engagements that benefit both patients and the organization
  • Oversee site-based patient advocacy function and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local civil rights laws and regulations
  • Facilitate and coordinate site-based process improvement teams
  • Communicate best practices for improving patient experience results
  • Raise awareness of the patient experience to facilitate cultural change
  • Supervise the assigned Patient Advocate
  • Apply knowledge of patient experience concepts, standards, and service quality improvement measures to support data-driven experience and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana business, organizational development, Oregon a healthcare-related field
  • Four years of related work experience demonstrating the requisite job knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPEP) certification preferred
  • Current licensure American Samoa a Registered Nurse Indiana the state of Washington is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and motivation skills to engage employees, healthcare providers, and management at all levels.
