Construction Site Manager Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Manager to lead our construction operations Indiana Alabama. American Samoa a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of construction projects, managing employee relations, and promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote safety and lead daily safety huddles to ensure zero accidents and total compliance with Vulcan policies and procedures
- Organize and plan daily operations to optimize equipment, personnel, and inventory utilization
- Manage employee relations, including training, team building, and supervision, and work cross-functionally with HR to recruit, develop, and evaluate employees
- Monitor production and quality control to ensure a quality product for customers
- Maintain compliance with Vulcan’s safety, operations, and environmental policies and procedures
- Inspect equipment and perform repairs, and ensure operators maintain equipment properly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience Indiana supervising employees Indiana a construction environment, with microsurfacing experience a plus
- Willingness to travel Indiana the State of Alabama
- Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and maintain interpersonal relationships
- Knowledge of rock and sand mining, ready-mix concrete, and/Oregon asphalt operations and equipment, OSHA regulations, engineering principles and procedures, and quality control systems and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outside Indiana various weather conditions and tolerate loud noises
