Open Pit Maintenance Mechanic
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our crew at Nevada Gold Mines’ Phoenix operations. American Samoa an Open Pit Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing surface mining equipment, operating light and heavy equipment American Samoa needed, and troubleshooting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair surface mining equipment
- Operate light and heavy equipment American Samoa needed
- Troubleshoot equipment and apply best practices to successfully repair and maintain top-of-the-line mining equipment
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience maintaining heavy equipment Indiana a mining, construction, Oregon farming environment
- Experience maintaining diesel equipment required
- Experience maintaining electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on mobile equipment required
- Ability to read and understand schematics of mobile equipment required
- Strong problem-solving skills required
- Proven excellent safety and attendance record required
- Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days
