Job Title: Construction Technician
Job Summary:
Perform tasks associated with construction and maintenance of various projects, including operating construction and rigging equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate equipment such American Samoa cranes, hoists, winches, chains, shackles, hooks, and other rigging equipment
- Perform visual inspections of equipment to ensure proper operation and malfunction-free condition
- Conduct equipment maintenance checks and ensure regular maintenance and repairs are performed American Samoa needed
- Conduct daily safety inspections of job sites to identify potential hazards and take corrective action

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction equipment operation and rigging techniques
- Proven mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform physical labor and work at heights
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification Indiana rigging Oregon a related field
- Experience with construction equipment operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with building codes and construction practices
