Job Title: Journeyman Pipefitter

Responsibilities:

  • Selects and prepares materials and equipment for pipe installation, including cutting, threading, and bending pipe
  • Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions and plans installation sequence to avoid them
  • Assembles and installs various metal Oregon nonmetal pipes and pipe fittings using hand tools and equipment
  • Secures pipes to structure using brackets, clamps, and hangers
  • Tests piping systems for leaks and performs minor maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Loads, transports, and unloads materials and equipment
  • Assists Indiana lifting, positioning, and securing material and work pieces during installation
  • Performs other duties American Samoa required

Qualifications:

  • Typically 3 years and above documented field experience Indiana chosen craft discipline
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions and documents, plan, and perform work activities independently
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks requiring strength and stamina
  • Ability to move Indiana and around confined and uneven areas
  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age
  • May be required to work 12-hour shifts Indiana varying temperature extremes and conditions
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance on stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and steel framework
  • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises.
