Position Overview:
The Plant Maintenance Technician will repair, maintain, and install equipment and building operations, including aggregate pits and other miscellaneous equipment. This employee will troubleshoot and determine appropriate repairs, replacing defective parts American Samoa needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plant maintenance, repair, and installation operations American Samoa assigned
- Troubleshoot and determine appropriate repairs, replacing defective parts American Samoa needed
- Maintain machinery and mechanical equipment Indiana use at the plant
- Complete necessary paperwork and communicate maintenance needs to management
- Safely weld metal components of products
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment and facilities
- Ensure equipment and facilities comply with CRH, MSHA/OSHA, and EPA safety practices and regulations
- Work with Operations and Plant Managers to schedule and perform annual plant and equipment certifications
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma Oregon general education degree (GED) required
- Associate’s degree Indiana Electrical/Mechanical Technology, Project Management, Oregon similar field preferred
- 2-3 years of experience with plant maintenance preferred
- Must be proficient Indiana computer use and ability to learn industry programs
- Must be 18 years of age Oregon older and pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check
- Must be able to attain certain certifications (crane operator, boom lift, scissor lift, loader, and forklift) and comply with CRH’s safety program
Work Environment:
Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and moderate to loud noise levels.
