Job Title: Plant Maintenance Mechanic
Overview: The Plant Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installation, inspection, repairs, and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure they operate Indiana accordance with manufacturers’ specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical tasks related to installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and related equipment
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks American Samoa assigned
- Select and store stock, tools, and supplies
- Read diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers’ specifications to accomplish assigned tasks
- Complete sections of service requests, work requests, and/Oregon projects forms American Samoa directed
- May repair and maintain lawn and snow moving equipment and operate same
- May perform tasks such American Samoa installation and repair of ceiling, floor tile, and base
- Perform other related duties American Samoa assigned
Physical Requirements:
The position requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and pull objects with occasional exertion of 50-100 pounds of force, frequent exertion of 25-50 pounds of force, and constant exertion of 10-20 pounds of force.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED equivalent
- Background Indiana the mechanical field is required, which can be obtained through:
- One year of technical school training Indiana the mechanical field and one year of experience, Oregon
- Three years of documented experience performing mechanical duties
- Six to twelve months of on-the-job training is required to attain proficiency of performance of assigned duties.
