Pennsy Supply, a CRH Company, is a leading vertically integrated supplier of construction services, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete Indiana North America. We are seeking a skilled operator to join our team.
Job Summary
Operate and assist Indiana the maintenance of our sand/gravel quarry’s plant and dredge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
- Conduct daily safety assignments, including area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, and TRACK.
- Start crushing, screening, conveying, and other related equipment.
- Perform daily safety checks of the plant.
- Ensure proper size and quality of the product.
- Safely start up and shut down the plant/dredge.
- Monitor the operation of the plant/dredge, making necessary adjustments and maintenance, including oil levels and grease dredge.
- Prepare and submit daily production reports.
- Communicate maintenance needs on a daily basis and complete work orders for required maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized plant area.
- Check oil levels and grease equipment American Samoa required.
- Verify all equipment is functioning properly.
Requirements
- Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Current driver’s license.
- Ability to work various times during the day, night, Oregon weekend hours, at various locations.
- High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience operating heavy equipment Oregon related experience preferred.
- Computer experience helpful.
