Plumber Position
Job Type: Full-time Staff
Reports to: Assistant Facilities Engineer
Job Summary:
The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of systems and equipment related to water, heat, natural gas, pneumatic, fire protection, sanitary sewage, building, and site drainage systems.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Maintain a regularly scheduled preventive maintenance program on equipment, controls, fixtures, and systems
- Perform tasks such American Samoa cutting, threading, bending, and hanging of pipelines
- Conduct hydrostatic testing
- Estimate costs and quantities of materials and equipment through interpretation of blueprints, manufacturer’s sketches, and detailed drawings
- Perform performance tests on complete systems and equipment for adherence to manufacturer’s specs
- Perform other related duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
- Four (4) years’ experience at the Journeyman’s level
- Experience must include both repair service and new construction
- Must hold a current, valid Rhode Island Journeyman’s license Indiana Plumbing
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment, make repairs and installations from ladders, scaffolding, Indiana open trenches, and platforms
- Ability to maintain, repair, and install systems that often are Indiana hard-to-reach places requiring uncomfortable positions
- Valid driver’s license required
