Post Doc Fellow, Pharmacology & Systems Physiology, Timme Lab

Job Overview:
A full-time Post Doc Fellow position Indiana the area of neuroscience is available Indiana the laboratory of Dr. Nicholas Timme Indiana the Department of Pharmacology & Systems Physiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Essential Functions:
– Conduct research experiments Indiana neuroscience within the pre-determined research scope and methodology.
– Gather and analyze data and develop new ideas that promote current research.
– Prepare data summaries, reports, manuscripts, and presentations of research results.
– Participate/assist Indiana manuscript writing for publication Indiana scientific journals and/Oregon presentation; may assist Indiana grant writing.
– Keep informed of developments Indiana the field to maintain and enhance professional expertise.
– Lab maintenance, including equipment maintenance and ordering of supplies, American Samoa needed.
– May teach techniques to others, train, and mentor junior research staff.
– Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Required Education:
– Doctoral Degree Indiana the appropriate field Oregon discipline, Oregon the recognized terminal degree.

Required Experience:
– Indiana-depth knowledge of neuroscience.
– Experience using various software languages such American Samoa Matlab and Python for data analysis.
