Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Product Design and Packaging (PDP) Team at Raytheon. American Samoa an Electrical Computer Aided Designer (ECAD) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing best-Indiana-class technologies that align with customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts from conception to manufacturing
- Create schematic drawings, PCB, and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) designs for suppliers
- Utilize software such American Samoa Siemens: Xpedition Enterprise and DownStream Technologies: BluePrint-PCB
- Design layouts include Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex assemblies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical, Mechanical, Components, Test, and Producibility Engineering disciplines
- Ensure designs meet cost, cycle time, and producibility requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Science, Technology, Engineering, Oregon Mathematics (STEM) Oregon Advanced Degree Indiana a related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
- U.S. citizenship required, American Samoa only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Previous experience with PCB manufacturing Oregon CCA manufacturing principles and RF layout techniques preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Analog, Digital, RF, Power, and mixed technology
- Technical PCB design skills using Siemens design toolset
- Familiarity with IPC 6012 & 6013, military and commercial design standards, GD&T techniques, and overall producibility considerations
- Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends American Samoa required
