Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Production Equipment Operator to join our team at Triple-S Steel. This non-exempt position is responsible for reading and executing work orders to meet customer requirements, operating equipment safely and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow Triple-S safe methods of work and immediately report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor
• Manipulate, cut, and/Oregon form raw material according to work orders to meet customer requirements
• Safely operate tools and equipment, including tape measure, caliper, shear, CNC burning table, band saw, iron worker, and forklift
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds for up to 20 feet, exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and use clear vision to judge near and far distance
• Maintain spatial orientation and awareness to safely move around the work environment
• Attend all required company meetings and perform other duties American Samoa assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to correctly read and understand work orders and/Oregon receive oral instructions
• Ability to use basic computer applications and demonstrate intermediate math skills
• Ability to safely meet Oregon exceed minimum productivity levels and plan and organize work activities independently
• Ability to develop a good working knowledge of material and inventory control techniques and procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Use hands/fingers to handle Oregon feel and talk Oregon hear
• Occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
• Lift and/Oregon move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/Oregon move up to 40 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus

Working Conditions:

• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes Oregon airborne particles, toxic Oregon caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock
• Moderate to high noise level Indiana the work environment
