Production Worker – Shift 3rd
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Worker to join our team at our Southeast Houston manufacturing facility, where you will assist Painters, Machine Operators, Welders, Material Handlers, and Leadperson Indiana the performance of their work.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Load unpainted metal parts onto the Paint Line
- Load copper bars and pipe onto the Bus Insulation Line Conveyor
- Unload painted metal parts from the Paint Line and attach the required part identification label
- Assist with daily and weekly preventative maintenance of the Paint Line & Bus Insulation Line equipment and facilities
- Move parts from one manufacturing operation to the next operation according to the part routing
- Remove finished parts from sheet metal skeletons
- Sort and stack parts by part number and job number combination
- Assemble kits of parts to be welded
- Assist machine operators with various tasks upon request
- Perform labor tasks American Samoa directed by supervisor Oregon leadperson (painting, grinding, sanding, general cleaning)
- Lifting of up to 50 lbs. consistently
- End of shift cleanup
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Oregon General Education Diploma preferred
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Ability to use computer software to control equipment Oregon look-up company information
- Basic English language skills (written and verbal)
Working Conditions:
- Safety sensitive position Indiana a temperature-controlled manufacturing Oregon industrial environment with occasional outside activities
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirators when required
- May work at heights up to 20 feet Indiana the air using proper lift equipment and Fall Protection Equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling
