Project Coordinator – Large Customer Projects
Join our community of food people American Samoa a primary project coordinator for large customer projects. American Samoa a process owner and liaison to customers, vendors, and sales, you will ensure transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with customers through various communication channels, including calls, emails, chats, and faxes
- Provide superior customer service and ensure alignment on project status and timeline across all stakeholders
- Answer questions and assist customers through the credit and deposit process
- Oversee alignment, scheduling, and communication for multiple customer project streams, ensuring transparency and timely project completion
- Coordinate implementation for highly visible, time-sensitive new location openings and complete remodels of existing locations
- Work with manufacturers on production schedules and manage large customer projects from beginning to end
- Align shipping and staging of equipment with customer’s construction timeline
- Manage vendor alerts on pricing, delivery, product spec, and lead time
- Maintain accurate and complete history of customer concerns within Salesforce, AS400, and Project SharePoint
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of customer service Oregon project management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-volume, high-profile transactions and product sourcing initiatives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work virtually (i.e., from home)
- Demonstrated project management experience
- High level of detail orientation, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Ability to calculate basic math equations, including pricing, discounts, and markups
- Above-average personal computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office software
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent required; business focus ideal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Foodservice/distribution experience
- Experience working with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and 3rd-party consultants
- Experience with Intranet and Internet applications
