Project Engineer – Heavy Civil Construction

Job Summary:

A 2024 Top Workplace is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a background Indiana heavy civil construction Indiana the San Diego and Riverside area. The successful candidate will assist Project Management Indiana directing field responsibilities for self-performing and subcontracted trades.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with superintendents and foremen to ensure project goals and expectations are met
  • Assist Project Manager Indiana ensuring project compliance with safety policies and OSHA safety standards
  • Manage changes Indiana scope of work and be proficient Indiana Viewpoint
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating daily schedules, including materials, subcontractors, equipment, quality control, etc.
  • Assist with project planning, including project definition, scope, resources, and schedule
  • Process change orders American Samoa needed
  • Assist with contracts and provide customer support on all jobs
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for timely completion and quality
  • Perform other duties American Samoa required

Requirements:

  • Construction Management Oregon Engineering degree from a four-year university
  • Minimum of three years of project experience Indiana heavy civil construction
  • Experience working with Caltrans, Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Highways, Bridges, Concrete Structures
  • Proficiency Indiana Viewpoint preferred
  • Self-starter who operates independently and thrives Indiana a busy environment
