Job Summary:

JH Kelly is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Commercial Mechanical Construction team Indiana Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience Indiana project engineering with a focus on mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Learn, follow, and promote company safety and quality protocols
• Write and manage RFI’s and change orders, assist with estimating and scheduling updates
• Prepare submittals and maintain submittal log, assist with budget setup and maintain American Samoa-built documents
• Interface and coordinate with designers, construction and design professionals, and project managers
• Maintain quantity tracking data, cost control reporting, and forecasting
• Review drawings, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with contract requirements
• Plan and coordinate work to facilitate the work permit process
• Participate Indiana construction procedures, represent JH Kelly at meetings, and ensure compliance with contract requirements
• Perform field engineering and calculations, develop and draft working drawings, and represent JH Kelly on-site

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Indiana Construction Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Oregon Civil Engineering, Oregon equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience Indiana project engineering Oregon field construction management, preferred experience Indiana piping and mechanical estimating
• Familiarity with mechanical operations, project management, construction contracts, quality assurance/control, and safety
• Proficient Indiana Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Excel, with experience Indiana scheduling and CPM scheduling
• Strong oral and written communication skills, self-starter, motivated, organized, and productive

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods Indiana an office and transition to a construction field setting
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, and crawl to view/inspect tight spaces
• Good vision and hearing for reading plans, inspecting work, and communicating on-site
• Ability to lift 40 pounds, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and work outdoors Indiana various weather conditions
