Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Facilities Management Department, we seek a Project Manager to oversee the design and execution of minor and major capital construction and renovation projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana Architecture Oregon Engineering
  • 2 years of professional experience Indiana planning, construction, Oregon a related field
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and a successful background check required

Job Duties:

  • Execute development and coordination of major Oregon significant capital outlay projects through planning, design, bidding, construction, and close-out phases
  • Monitor and control contractual commitments, including compliance with drawings and specifications
  • Manage capital project specific activities, including design, development of bid and construction documents, procuring services, monitoring change orders, and approving expenditures
  • Maintain knowledge of and implement University and industry requirements, procedures, and standards
  • Communicate and coordinate project issues with internal and external clients, professional consultants, regulatory agencies, and University administration
  • Perform other related duties American Samoa required
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the university for building code requirement compliance
