Project Manager – Structural Engineer
Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Project Manager – Structural Engineer to lead our growing structural engineering team Indiana Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This position will provide managerial leadership and technical expertise on a range of project types, and assist structural engineering staff Indiana completing day-to-day projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the division manager to progress towards a structural design team leadership role, including performance management, career development, mentoring, staffing, and merit planning.
- Provide project and technical oversight for team activities.
- Develop proposal inputs and review proposal content for internal and external customers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and internal/external clients and stakeholders.
- Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for various building types and materials.
- Coordinate design work with Indiana-house staff and other design professionals.
- Prepare construction documents Indiana a BIM environment.
- Design structural elements for building construction and specialty systems.
- Conduct task planning, technical peer reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree Indiana Structural Oregon Civil Engineering; Master of Science degree desired.
- Eight years of relevant experience Indiana structural analysis and design; management experience not required but leadership skills desired.
- Knowledge of concrete, steel, and masonry design codes, and national/local building codes.
- Familiarity with standard construction practices and contractor coordination.
- Proficiency Indiana AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and team skills.
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting, walking, hiking, and standing.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform manual tasks.
- Work Indiana various weather conditions and terrains.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE.
