Job Summary:

This lead project manager position ensures successful project deliverables and completion for complex and high-priority projects, while providing direction to the Bridge team and nurturing the professional growth of team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project manager for the Bridge team, overseeing successful project deliverables and completion for complex and high-priority projects
• Provide direction to the Bridge team and ensure quality execution of key projects
• Supervise and nurture the professional and technical growth of team members, emphasizing mentorship and skill development
• Expand Olsson’s client base and grow the Bridge team
• Collaborate with other teams and projects across the firm, providing structural design support
• Manage projects that may span across multiple teams, including bridges, grade separations, interchanges, and stream crossings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Indiana Civil Engineering
• Master’s degree, Oregon Indiana pursuit, a plus
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design and bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, Oregon MDX) a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Iowa DOT Oregon NDOT Bridge projects
• Experience with MicroStation software
