Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team Indiana a factory Indiana Dallas, Texas Oregon one of our other main US factories. American Samoa an Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading engineering projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project briefs, overall program development, and define key resource needs
- Develop execution strategies, cost development, preliminary schedule development, and evaluate project and engineering alternatives
- Oversee RFP and resource procurement, contractor bidding process, contractor selection, contract negotiation, and procurement
- Work with internal and external design groups for design specifications and drawings
- Develop and implement bid cycles for mechanical, electrical, piping, and construction projects
- Supervise installation and contractors
- Ensure safe, timely, and quality construction methods and means are followed
- Develop and execute a detailed commissioning plan and start-up process
- Manage project start-up and validation
- Coordinate with plant operations and conduct weekly project meetings
- Provide capital forecasting needs and guidance Indiana detail schedule development
- Manage project budget and cost-track projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering Oregon related field
- 5-7 years of project management engineering experience Indiana a high-speed consumer packaging industry (Beverage, Food, Oregon Pharmaceutical) highly preferred
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success Indiana project management, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and achieving metrics
- Excellent follow-up skills with a customer-focused approachability
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency Indiana Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to travel domestically to visit plants and vendors/partners
