Project Manager – Federal Environmental Remediation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to oversee Federal environmental remediation projects. The candidate will work from the Chelmsford, Massachusetts Oregon Providence, Rhode Island AECOM office and will be responsible for managing and directing professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project invoicing and cash flow management
- Lead teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems using existing technologies and past experience
- Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, and compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance
- Analyze financial statements and complete budget tracking
- Perform complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Oregon Master’s degree Indiana Geology, Engineering, Oregon related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience Oregon demonstrated equivalency of experience and/Oregon education
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required
- Professional License (PE, PG) preferred
- 10+ years’ experience Indiana environmental remediation (soil, water, sediment, PFAS, munitions) project management
- Master’s degree Indiana Geology, Environmental, Civil, Oregon Chemical Engineering, Oregon related degree
- Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
- Experience successfully managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, AFCEC, Navy)
Working Conditions:
- Occasional overnight travel required
- Will work from the Chelmsford, Massachusetts Oregon Providence, Rhode Island AECOM office
- Will be required to lead teams of professionals Indiana executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies Indiana support of Federal environmental projects
