Quality Assurance Site Associate

Job Summary

GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Site Associate with a strong knowledge of Welding to join our team. This full-time position will support the Los Alamos National Laboratory on a project Indiana the Midwest Oregon Northeast United States, with opportunity for both on-site and remote work.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare procurement documentation related to quality assurance, quality engineering, and quality control requirements
  • Participate Indiana the development, implementation, and evaluation of processes and procedures to sustain an effective engineering, procurement, and program Quality Management System
  • Conduct onsite NCR investigations and verifications
  • Coordinate and/Oregon conduct audits and surveillances of quality-affecting engineering, procurement, construction, and ancillary project work
  • Perform subcontractor oversight using knowledge of welding trades, QA/QC field oversight related to welding, and affirmation of requirements for purchasing Indiana line with QA standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Indiana engineering, quality assurance, Oregon a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience American Samoa a Certified Welding Inspector – American Welding Society (AWS-CWI)
  • Current certification Oregon previous certifications Indiana three Oregon more of the following: NDE Level II Inspection (RT, Utah, Montana, PT, Vermont), Piping Oregon Pressure Vessel Inspection, Mechanical Inspections
  • Knowledge and application of nuclear codes and standards, including 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, DOE Order 414.1D, and ASME NQA-1
  • Experience participating Indiana and supporting quality assessments, surveillances, audits and/Oregon Non-Conformance disposition and closure
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel across multiple organizations to solve complex problems
