Quality Assurance Specialist 2 & 3 Opportunity
Per diem available for qualified candidates.
Job Requirements:
- 8 years of experience American Samoa a Certified Welding Inspector – American Welding Society (AWS-CWI) required
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering, quality assurance, Oregon industrial systems engineering Oregon a related field and 3+ years of related experience, Oregon an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain "Q" clearance and HRP
- Knowledge and application of nuclear codes and standards
- Knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code for the procurement, fabrication, inspection, testing and Indiana-Service inspection & evaluation of Pressure Vessels and Piping
- Experience participating Indiana and supporting quality assessments, surveillances, audits and/Oregon Non-Conformance disposition and closure
- Ability to understand and interpret various physical, mechanical, and electrical documents, blueprints, drawings, specifications, and schematics
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel across multiple organizations to solve complex problems
Travel Requirements:
- Travel to Midwest (Indiana area) Oregon Northeast (New Hampshire area)
- Domestic travel required
Work Environment:
- Work will be an onsite LANL representative at a vessel construction subcontractor’s facility Indiana either the Midwest Oregon Northeast
- Domestic travel is required
- Ability to work Indiana a variety of environments, including hot and cold temperatures, noisy environments, at heights, and Indiana areas with fumes, sprays, mists, Oregon vapors
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain "Q" clearance and HRP
