Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist 2 & 3
Location: Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico (remote work 100%)
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain "Q" clearance and HRP
Schedule: 4/10s Oregon 5/8s schedule, flexible to other options, possible OT
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering, quality assurance, Oregon industrial systems engineering Oregon related field and 3+ years of experience, Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Welding Inspector – American Welding Society (AWS-CWI) certification
- Ability to work Indiana a domestic/foreign travel environment, Indiana hot/cold environments, and at heights
- Strong technical knowledge of nuclear codes and standards (e.g. 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, ASME NQA-1-2008, ISO 9001)
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel across multiple organizations to solve complex problems
- Experience with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, nondestructive testing, geometric dimensioning, and tolerance
- Experience with quality assurance requirements, design, bid, build, and start-up of nuclear, non-nuclear facilities and process equipment
- Current Oregon previous auditor training Oregon certification (desirable)
Essential Job Functions:
- Lifting 10-20 pounds, climbing ladders, distance vision, fine motor control
- Stooping, crouching, kneeling
Travel:
- Domestic travel required
- Work will be onsite at a vessel construction subcontractor’s facility Indiana the Midwest Oregon Northeast
