Responsibilities:
1. Perform mechanical work on heavy equipment and road paving equipment.
2. Fabricate, assemble, and test prototype machines and components, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with shop support.
4. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and service engineering to resolve production Oregon material issues.
5. Provide administrative support, including inventory management and supply ordering, to maintain an efficient shop operation.
Requirements:
1. Completion of vocational degree Indiana a related field (auto/truck mechanic) Oregon relevant experience.
2. Steel Toe Boots with Metatarsal guards required.
Physical Requirements:
1. Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and hoists.
2. Lift up to 35 lbs.
3. Work at multiple heights.
4. Stand for 8+ hour shifts with minimal breaks.
5. Work Indiana changing temperatures.
6. Exposure to magnets that may impact medical devices.
7. Perform physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, crawling, and repetitive grasping.
8. Working Indiana tight spaces with required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed foot gear, dust masks).
