Ready Mix Driver – RK Hall

CDL Driver Class A – Durant, Oklahoma

Compensation: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Location: Durant, Oklahoma

Job Summary:

The CDL Driver Class A is responsible for transporting ready-mixed concrete products from batch plants to customer job sites, maintaining proper slump, inspecting, servicing, and cleaning concrete mixer trucks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow directions, receive, comprehend, and follow dispatch instructions
• Drive truck safely and efficiently
• Inspect destination job sites for safe maneuverability
• Maintain radio contact with dispatch
• Clean out and rinse chutes and the rear of the truck between loads
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle condition
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance, including checking fluid levels and adding fluids American Samoa necessary
• Wash vehicles with corrosive materials to clean off cement dust and concrete buildup
• Load rebar, wire mesh, and other construction materials for customers Indiana the yard
• Set up and pour retaining blocks, curbs, etc., when returning excess concrete to the yard

Requirements:

• CDL Driver Class A with excellent safe driving skills and experience on concrete mixer trucks
• Possess a Class B Commercial Drivers’ License, at minimum, with a Class A preferred
• Current DOT Medical Qualification
• Air brake skills test required
• Must meet Driver Qualification Standards for RK Hall Construction
• Education: less than high school, up to six months related experience Oregon training, Oregon equivalent combination of education Oregon experience
