Job Description:
We are seeking an unclassified construction worker to join our team Indiana various skilled trades including but not limited to:
– Abatement and removal of hazardous materials
– Carpentry, installation, and repair of wooden structures
– Fireproofing of commercial construction sites
– Painting, plastering,EIFS, and drywall installation
– Iron working, installation, and repair of structural steel
– Millwright, installation, and repair of industrial equipment
– Operation of heavy equipment, bulldozers, cranes, and excavators
– Plumbing and piping installation and repair
– Glazing and glass installation
– Boilermaker, construction, and repair of boilers and pressure vessels
– Electrical and electrical systems installation and repair
– Roofer, installation, and repair of building roofs
– Sheet metal cutting, shaping, and installation
– Operating and driving of trucks and heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials
Responsibilities:
– Perform assigned tasks safely and efficiently
– Work outside Indiana various weather conditions
– Lift 40 pounds and work at heights
– Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
– Participate Indiana on-job training programs
Requirements:
– Must be at least 18 years old
– Ability to perform basic math
– Physically able to perform assigned tasks
– Prolonged periods of standing and working outside
– On-the-job training offered
– May include supervisory responsibilities
– Must be an active member of a union Indiana good standing (Indiana non-right to work states)
