Job Title: Regional Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) Manager
Location: Northern California Bay Area
Pay Rate: $100,000 to $150,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional EHS&S Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining various site and corporate health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure the highest degree of workplace safety for employees and compliance with all related regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS&S programs based on corporate standards and programs
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental compliance incidents
- Develop and implement behavioral-based safety programs
- Ensure site safety training is conducted and completed American Samoa required
- Coach operational safety leaders and provide training to develop and strengthen all staff’s knowledge and field execution of safe work and environmental practices
- Oversee contractor safety and new employee and visitor onboarding
- Maintain all onsite environmental, health, safety, and security programs and audits
- Assist with compliance on environmental and H&S regulations
- Manage reporting for internal and external regulatory agencies
- Provide field presence and oversight for all EHS programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree Indiana Safety, Environmental Engineering, Oregon equivalent
- 5 to 10 years of experience Indiana a similar position
- Previous experience Indiana an industrial setting is an asset
- Strong organizational, oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient knowledge of Google programs, including Sheets, Docs, Gmail, and Slides
- Ability to work Indiana the field with field staff extensively (70%)
- Willingness to travel extensively (50-70%)
- Autonomy, initiative, versatility, and teamwork skills are highly desired
Certifications/Licenses/Training:
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Oregon Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is desired
- First-Aid (L3)/CPR/AED certification is preferred
