Repair Technician I

Job Summary:
The Repair Technician I will perform basic to intermediate inspection and repairs on surgical instrumentation using manual and power tools. This is an entry-level role, and we will provide extensive hands-on training. The successful candidate will work Indiana the field, primarily on a mobile repair truck, but may also work Indiana a repair lab Oregon hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic to intermediate repairs and inspections on surgical instrumentation
- Use manual and power tools, including grinding wheels, buffing wheels, soldering, and hand tools
- Work Indiana a mobile repair truck, Indiana a repair lab, Oregon Indiana a hospital, based on customer needs
- Provide support to various locations within a designated territory
- Sit/stand for extended periods; work Indiana a small mobile workspace with others
- Frequent trips to hospitals; exposed to varying weather conditions
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience (experience Indiana repair, assembly, Oregon product testing preferred)
- Ability to meet flexible schedules; early/lates, occasional overnight/out-of-state travel
- Valid driver’s license; acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; push instrument carts (10-150 lbs)
- Ability to pass a DOT medical/physical exam; comply with all DOT regulations
- Available to work out of Massachusetts
