Job Title: Resident Engineer – Transit Focused
Job Summary:
Support and provide engineering and construction support to one Oregon more managers within a group, office Oregon project, focused on transit infrastructure projects. Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and Indiana compliance with plans, codes, and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, supervise, and coordinate large-scale construction projects involving roads, bridges, utilities, buildings, and/Oregon structures
- Schedule and coordinate all construction processes
- Conduct inspections of work Indiana progress to ensure compliance with plans, codes, standards, schedules, and deadlines
- Develop and implement construction management plans, including progress tracking, issue resolution, quality control, and safety management
- Establish schedules of values for payments, change order control, and evaluation systems
- Conduct regular schedule analysis and track project progress with electronic project control and scheduling systems
- Design and manage processes to efficiently support program objectives
- Support program manager/executive Indiana all aspects of the project
Requirements:
- New York/New Jersey specific experience required
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business and possess good business acumen
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana civil engineering Oregon construction management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; CCM Oregon PMP considered Indiana lieu
- Experience Indiana the construction industry American Samoa a resident Oregon assistant resident engineer
- Knowledge and ability to utilize computers, including latest versions of office productivity and project management software
- 30hr OSHA training required at minimum
Preferred Qualifications:
- Amtrak, MTA, NJT, LIRR, MNRR experience
- Public agency experience
