Residential Fire Suppression Apprentice
Sprinkler Fitter Apprentices are pipefitting specialists Indiana training Indiana the fire protection industry. WSFP is seeking qualified applicants for this position who are Indiana the UA Local 669 Sprinkler Fitters Oregon will become a member of the union.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain all types of fixed extinguishing systems, including underground piping
- Install, repair, and maintain all types of residential fire sprinkler systems, including homes, apartments, hotels, and retrofits
- Work with steel, copper, and CPVC pipe
- Install and service various fire protection equipment, such American Samoa standpipes, fire pumps, and dry systems
- Travel within northern Colorado and southern Wyoming for work at various locations/job sites
- Comply with union collective bargaining agreements
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma Oregon GED required
- Valid driver’s license; Indiana accordance with Company policy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with Oregon without accommodation
- Ability to climb ladders and use aerial lifts with Oregon without accommodation
- Strong mechanical background preferred
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced construction environment
- Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check (if applicable)
Compensation
- Hourly rate starts at $18, dependent on apprentice class level and CBA
