Job Summary:

National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS) is seeking a skilled Roadway Worker Indiana Charge (RWIC) to support railroad flagging services for various clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient working environment on railroad construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide jobsite coordination and effective communication with dispatchers, train crews, and other railroad personnel
• Conduct clear and thorough job briefings with all personnel on each job site
• Enforce railroad, state, and federal policies, and identify rule violations for resolution
• Submit daily field reports detailing contractor and/Oregon railroad activities
• Provide on-track safety Indiana accordance with 49 CFR 214 Federal Regulations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma Oregon Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a Class 1 Railroad, Regional Short Line, Transit System, State DOT Rail Division, Railroad Supplier, Railroad Contractor, Oregon Railroad Consultant
• Proficient computer skills Indiana basic email, phone, and text message applications, American Samoa well American Samoa Android OS and Citrix Applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge Indiana Railroad Engineering, Railroad Design, Railroad Construction, and Safety
• Ability to travel for extended periods and pass background checks and drug/alcohol testing
