Position Description:
Perform rough carpentry functions on assigned jobsites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understand and execute scopes of work American Samoa per plans and specifications.
• Manage inventory and request supplies from the Foreman.
• Ensure compliance with Turner standards, safety codes, and jobsite security.
• Construct rough carpentry items including walkways, structures, railings, and temporary openings.
• Gather, measure, cut, and install materials for rough carpentry tasks.
• Identify and address jobsite hazards using carpentry skills.
• Exhibit teamwork, integrity, and leadership Indiana daily operations.
• Follow safety protocols and prepare tools for use.
• Operate construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, backhoes).
• Maintain security of equipment and work areas.
• Communicate issues to supervisors for resolution.
• Track task completion and maintain a clean work area.
• Foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other duties American Samoa assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of rough carpentry experience.
• Proficient Indiana construction materials, methods, and tools.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Strong arithmetic and geometry skills.
• Excellent measurement and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid state Driver’s License required.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends American Samoa needed.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to navigate construction sites, climb stairs and ladders, and lift/carry weights under 50 lbs.
• Constantly standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and heights.

Work Environment:

• Regular on-site work with exposure to mechanical parts, weather conditions, and potential hazards.
• Compliance with safety policies and procedures is mandatory.
